About Us

High Value Chemicals from Plants is one of thirteen Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) funded Networks in Industrial Biotechnology and Bioenergy (NIBB) designed to boost interactions between academia and industry. For more information see Networks in Industrial Biotechnology and Bioenergy.

The High Value Chemicals from Plants Network creates opportunities for individuals to engage with each other, building critical mass and enabling research consortia to respond to funding opportunities in the research area of high value chemical production from plants.

The Network is managed by an Executive Group working with a Management Board.

Executive Group

Network Director: Professor Ian Graham
Centre for Novel Agricultural Products, University of York

Network Deputy Director: Professor Anne Osbourn
