“The exploitation of Xanthophyllomyces dendrorhous as a sustainable platform for the PROduction of high-value CARotenoids” (PROCAR consortium) funded by the ERA-IB Network aims to generate high value carotenoids that will offer an alternative to chemically synthesised versions by using a variety of mathmatical, genetic and chemical tools and comparing plant and microbial production systems. PROCAR is led by HVCfP’s Management Board Chair, Paul Fraser. You can read more about PROCAR activities and aims in Fraser_PROCAR_IMPACT_ publication_P31-33_V7
