A new in-depth report of the species of plants found in the network of botanic gardens around the world, co-authored by HVCfP Network member Samuel Brockington of the University of Cambridge, has been published in Nature Plants. At least 30% of the world’s known plant species, and 41% of ‘threatened’ plant species, can be found in ex situ collections in botanic gardens.
